Ang website na ito ay para sa mga Pilipino sa Hilagang Italya. Ito ay tulay ng kaalaman at impormasyon sa pagitan ng Konsulado at ng ating mga kababayan. Maari na nilang malaman ang mga kinakailangan o requirements sang-ayon sa mga batas at mga regulasyon, at i-download ang mga consular forms bago sila pumunta sa Konsulado. Through this website, the functions and services being rendered by the Philippine Consulate General will be communicated to the public. Hence, it is intended to bring the Consulate closer to Filipinos. At the same time, it will provide information and links to our Italian friends and those who want to know more about the Philippines.

The Consulate's services include passports, visas, civil registration and reporting of vital events, legal services and assistance to nationals function. It also undertakes functions under the Citizenship Reacquisition Act or Dual Citizenship and the Overseas Absentee Voting Act.

The Consulate operates under the One-Country-Team approach. It coordinates the conduct of services of its attached agencies, that are all tasked to serve the needs of Filipinos in Italy. These agencies are the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers' Welfare Administration (OWWA), the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-Ibig fund.

While consular services and protection of nationals are priority concerns of the Consulate, it will also pursue economic diplomacy by promoting trade, investments and tourism.
