A Roaring Cheer to a Good Year!

THE year 2014 has been a particularly good year for us Filipinos. After years of puttering along as the tiger economies in the region roared, our country has finally started to show some growl of its own.

For 2014 and 2015, our economy is expected to continue its robust expansion with growth in Philippine GDP forecasted to reach 6.2% in 2014 and 6.4% in 2015 according to an ADB report. Also in May this year, the rating agency Standard & Poor's increased our country's long-term credit rating, making us more attractive to foreign investors.
